- READING BUDDIES! The class had a lot of fun joining their 2nd grade reading buddies. See attached photos :)
- SEL with Ms. Bird - continuing the Middle School Prep unit

- Fraction work: multiplying and dividing fractions plus mixed review and a few challenge problems
- English
- Class read: The Rock and the River , discussions and questions. We are getting through the book at a steady pace, and the students are very engaged with the story.
- Poetry: List and Simile Poems
- Root word work
- Science
- Science Fair ...Everything! All week long there were papers being printed, cut, and glued onto boards decorated with borders and lots of color! The students are so proud and we all look forward to sharing the GHCDS STEM Fair with you. We even enjoyed a mini fair of our own :)
- Social Studies/Global Perspectives
- Egypt! Students have been assigned a poster project highlighting one for the GRAPES of Egypt. This is an individual project but they will present the topic as a group, which will help all review for the test next week.
