I am so excited for this school year! It is a transitional year for sure, a year of growth for the students; a stepping stone to middle school.
I feel truly grateful to be their teacher and mentor during this time of change and discovery. We care for the whole student, and take their personal wellness and growth as seriously as their academic learning.

About me: As a military child I moved around a bit, but grew up mostly in upstate NY. I attended SUNY Albany, studying Anthropology, Archaeology, and Geography. I have my MS in Education but also served in the military. The discipline and self confidence I gained is something I try to cultivate in my students, as well. I love that I’m always learning alongside my students.
This island has been my home for 20 years. My husband attended CDS and my two children, now teenagers, began in the ELC. I love being in nature, going to the movies, and family time :)
