Science Fair - This is coming up fast and students will need time to write up all of their information. In order to do that, they need to have their data collected NLT Feb. 6. We will work on writing out all of the science fair report sections in class and creating graphs of the data. Display boards will be be assembled Feb 23-27th.

- Morning Meeting, wellness/personal growth
- Students have taken on lots of responsibility lately with all of the projects we have been doing. For the Agriculture Fair project, 4 groups were formed, each with a team leader who then assigned roles and monitored the groups progress. Often a student would be responsible for a particular part, and not completing that part meant the group's project wouldn't be complete. They have really been growing in so many ways!
- Math
- We began our short unit on Angles and we are cruising along so far! They seem to be picking up the terminology and rules quickly. This week we covered vocabulary, angle identification and measuring, as well as drawing angles and measuring them.
- English
- Learned about and wrote movie reviews!
- Sentence Stalking
- Continued our read-aloud (The Golden Bull)
- Root word quiz
- Science
- Special visit with Tech teacher Mr. Krigger to learn about drones and attempt to fly a few!
- Wrapped up the Agriculture Fair group projects, during down time next week we will do the art for the presentation board to go in the booth
- More science Fair talk, research, and report writing. Most are well on their way with the report sections of materials, procedures, hypothesis, question, background/research.
- Social Studies/Global Perspectives
- Student-created surveys were sent out and responses streamed in! They are now beginning to work with the data they have received.
