SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENTS:

- To support our environment, and Senior student Maya's vision of a plastic free campus, we are asking students to remember to bring their own utensils for lunch. There will be compostable forks available for sale in Ms. Thatcher's office, in case any student happens to need one. The proceeds will go to support continued "green" efforts.

- Homework: On occasion there will be homework. Your student should be writing their assignments in their planner. If we have something to add to the planner, we take the time to do that at the end of the day. Over the last two weeks, the math homework has been intended as review and practice work. It has allowed me to gain further insight into their understanding of the content. Students always have the opportunity to come to me with any homework questions, and I was happy to work with a few this week who did. Please also continue to encourage reading as a regular homework assignment. Right now your child should have a book of their choosing to be reading at home and at school. It's great to hear them excitedly discuss their books with peers!
